WalkWithMe
Walk With Me is an app designed for dog owners who can't always give their dog the walk it needs when it needs it. It helps owners find the right dog walker for them, matched by location and by their dog's specific needs, not just availability.
Problem statement                                                               Dog owners struggle to find a service that actually fits their dog. Common frustrations: too few dog walkers in their area, mismatches between the walker's experience and the dog's needs, and cancelled plans because no one felt like the right fit.

Solution                                                                                 Walk With Me gives dog owners a way to find a walker they can actually trust without compromising on their dog's wellbeing, even when they can't be there themselves.

User research                                                                                       I interviewed dog owners with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and ages. Most had never used a dog-walking app before. The research surfaced a consistent fear: owners didn't feel confident handing their dog off to a stranger who didn't know the dog's training level, temperament, or needs - and worried about what might happen during a walk or an encounter with another dog.
Market research
I tested 6 existing dog-walking apps. Some had compatibility questionnaires; some let you filter by area. None of them gave owners real confidence that the match was right for their specific dog.
Walk With Me came out of a real gap I saw in the existing apps: they optimize for availability, not fit. Designing it pushed me to think about trust as a design problem - how do you make a stranger feel safe with something as personal as your dog?
