I'm Lior, a graphic and UI/UX designer based in Canada.
I've always been a creative person — the kind who looks for a different way to do things. I got into design after a friend introduced me to it, and once I started studying it, I was hooked. I loved learning how something that looks simple is usually the result of a lot of thinking.
Before Canada, I designed in the Israeli Defense Forces — some systems were meant to make everyday tasks easier, others were built for high-pressure, complex situations. That taught me a lot about what actually matters in a design, and what's just extra.
A year and a half ago, my partner, our dog, and I moved to Canada for a change and a new challenge. It hasn't been simple, but it's made me more independent, more resourceful, and more critical of my own work — I question things more now instead of assuming they're right just because they look good.
I like clean, minimalist design — simple, but still interesting to look at — whether it's a full brand identity or a digital product. I care about making things easier to use and easier to understand, because I think most people are tired of complexity, and with the tools we have today, there's usually no real reason for it.
Outside of design, I bake, watch a lot of movies, and try to travel when I can.
